Title
The Removal Characteristics of Organic Matters and Ammonia in the Aquacultural Effluents by Electrolysis
이용두Yong Doo Lee,부창산Chang San Bu
Abstract
The method of electrolysis was used to treat aquacultural water. Main factors of this method are retention time, electrical density, the gap of electrodes and the result runs as follows. As the gap of the plates of electrode and the retention time kept constant, the electrical density was observed. The optimal density was 107.15 A/㎡ when similar results were compared, there was no great difference in the removal rate between the experiment with the electrical density of 107.15 A/㎡ and that of 89.28 A/㎡. Therefore the one of 89.28 A/㎡ is recommended. After the electrical density and the gap of electrode was made to keep constant, the removal rate of organic matters and ammonia increased with longer retention time. The efficiency of the removal was inhanced, but it`s not efficient. Therefore, it is desirable to choose proper retention time for the treatment. Not E. Coli forms were found under the condition of the 20 ㎜ gap of the electrode with the density of 35.71 A/㎡.
